Most of the hand-crafted jewelry at Eklectik Funk is created by Norfolk designer, Erin Kelley. Her one-of-a-kind creations are for individuals looking to add a little Funk to their wardrobes. There's something for everyone...the flashy, the classy, the sassy, the artsy, and even the conservative. She specializes in hand-wrapped wire jewelry and strung beaded jewelry, but designs a variety of other styles as well. She uses Swarovski crystals, Czech and Japanese glass beads, gemstones and quality findings to create fabulous pieces that are sure to please.
In addition to jewelry, Erin knits a variety of baby and children's items as well as lots of accessories including scarves, shawls, hats, headbands and fingerless gloves. She has also recently begun making fun custom tutus! They are a must-have for the ballerina in every girl, or those who just like to have fun!
Kayla Keene ~ Accessory Designer
Kayla is the 14 year old daughter of Erin Kelley. She has been designing her own jewelry for a few years now and has developed quite an eye for color and texture.
MASHULU by Artina ~ Functional Stylistic Stitchery
Artina Slaughter, of Hampton, Virginia, is the designer and seamstress of MASHULU. In Swahili mashulu means "stitches." Artina's line of skillfully crafted wristlets, checkbook wallets, clutches and shoulder bags are individually hand-made with practical details and simple shapes, allowing for embellishments to take center stage. Each bag is made in extremely limited runs to give the customer the feeling of having a functional and exclusive piece of art.
